Project Overview

Regional Tech LLC successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a physical security system at a data center facility, delivering both video surveillance and access control solutions designed to meet the customer’s operational and security requirements.

Scope of Work

Video Surveillance System

* Installed and commissioned 20 Verkada IP security cameras throughout the facility.
* Verified camera coverage, image quality, recording functionality, and network connectivity.
* Tested all devices to ensure proper operation and integration within the customer’s security platform.

Access Control System

* Installed and terminated one Verkada AC62 access control panel.
* Connected and configured:
* 5 secured doors
* 5 Request-to-Exit (REX) motion sensors
* 5 Door Position Switches (DPS)

System Configuration & Testing

Regional Tech LLC configured and tested all access control devices to ensure compliance with the customer’s security requirements. The following functionality was verified and confirmed operational:

* Door Held Open (DHO) alarms generated when a door remained open beyond the programmed time limit.
* Door Forced Open (DFO) events reported when a door was opened without a valid credential, including entry using a key only.
* Bluetooth mobile credentials enabled for authorized users.
* PIN code access configured and tested.
* Badge/card access configured and tested.
* Real-time event reporting and monitoring verified through the Verkada platform.

Results

The completed deployment provided the customer with a fully operational, integrated security solution combining video surveillance and access control. All devices were tested, commissioned, and verified operational, delivering enhanced facility security, improved event monitoring, and reliable access management for authorized personnel.
